Chicago doesn't do anything halfway — and a bachelorette weekend here is no exception. The city has world-class restaurants, a genuinely great wine bar scene, Lake Michigan, rooftop bars, and enough going on across its neighborhoods that you could plan three completely different weekends without repeating yourself. We've been hosting bachelorette wine and yoga experiences in Chicago for years, and we get asked for recommendations constantly. Here's our guide to making the most of your Chicago bach weekend in 2026 with some great Chicago bachelorette activities.
Start with a Vino Vinyasa Experience
Our Chicago bachelorette wine and yoga experiences are the perfect daytime anchor before the city takes over. We come to your Airbnb, hotel, or venue with mats, wine, and a certified instructor who leads your group through a beginner-friendly Vinyasa flow and a guided wine tasting. Your crew gets to breathe, move, connect, and leave with a wine-glass-in-hand yoga photo worth posting — all before the reservations and bar tabs begin.
Brunch
Chicago takes brunch seriously, and so should your group.
Cindy's at the Chicago Athletic Association is one of the most stunning brunch spots in the city — a rooftop overlooking Millennium Park and Lake Michigan that photographs beautifully and delivers on the food and drinks too. Book well in advance, especially on weekends.
The Hampton Social in River North or Streeterville brings coastal vibes and rosé energy to a bachelorette brunch — the "Rosé All Day" aesthetic is very much on purpose, and the group-friendly atmosphere makes it easy to linger. Summer House Santa Monica in Lincoln Park is another great option for a bright, California-inspired brunch that feels like a departure from the Chicago winter (even in summer, it earns it).
For something more neighborhood and low-key, Cellar Door Provisions in Logan Square does an exceptional small-format brunch — not a bachelorette blowout spot, but a genuinely great meal for a smaller, food-focused group.
To Drink
Chicago's wine bar scene has gotten genuinely excellent over the past few years.
Le Midi in Wicker Park is a picture-perfect French bar à vins with a rotating seasonal wine list, retail shop, and the kind of charming atmosphere that makes you want to stay for another pour. Easy Does It on the north side is the neighborhood wine bar done right — natural wines, great music, unpretentious vibes, and a bottle list that rewards the curious. Rootstock in Wicker Park is a longtime neighborhood favorite with an intimate atmosphere and well-priced pours across a thoughtful list.
For something with a little more scale and energy, The Purple Pig on Michigan Avenue is a Michelin Bib Gourmand staple — Mediterranean-focused small plates, an extensive wine program, and a lively group atmosphere that works perfectly for a bachelorette night out.
Pops for Champagne is the move if your bride wants to celebrate with bubbles — Chicago's premier champagne bar since 1982, and still one of the best.
To Dine
The West Loop and Fulton Market are where you want to be for a big bachelorette dinner. Girl & the Goat from Top Chef winner Stephanie Izard is one of Chicago's most celebrated restaurants — bold global flavors, legendary green beans, and a lively atmosphere that's perfect for groups. Book well in advance; this one fills up fast. Monteverde next door is the pasta lover's answer, with handmade pastas, a gorgeous Italian wine list, and a warm, intimate feel despite the buzz around it.
For something a little different, Beatnik in West Town is a bohemian escape with exotic cocktails, distinctive architecture, and a menu that spans Spain, South America, and Asia. Galit in Lincoln Park is one of the most exciting restaurants in the city right now — Middle Eastern and Levantine cuisine with Michelin recognition and a wine list that skews toward the eastern Mediterranean in the best way.
For a more casual group dinner, The Hampton Social works as well for dinner as it does for brunch — coastal-inspired menu, great cocktails, and a vibe that doesn't require much planning beyond a reservation.
To Get Outside
When the weather cooperates, Chicago on the lakefront is genuinely spectacular. Rent bikes and ride the Lakefront Trail — it runs 18 miles along Lake Michigan and offers some of the best city views anywhere. If your group is up for something more adventurous, kayaking the Chicago River is a surprisingly fun way to see the city from a completely different angle, with several outfitters operating downtown.
For something more festive, the Chicago Tiki Boat is a BYOB boat experience on the river — think coolers, a grill, a Bluetooth speaker, and a waterslide. It books up quickly in summer so plan ahead.
Something Different
Second City is one of Chicago's great institutions — improv and sketch comedy shows that are genuinely funny, not tourist-trap funny. It's a perfect early evening activity before dinner, and the energy it puts into a group is hard to beat.
For food-focused groups, Chicago Food & City Tours runs expert-led food tours through various neighborhoods — a great way to explore the city and eat well at the same time.
