the details
We want every Vino Vinyasa experience to feel easy, welcoming, and enjoyable. Below are answers to our most common questions. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help.
the experience
Not at all. Our classes are designed to be beginner-friendly and all-levels welcome. Whether you've never set foot on a mat or you practice every day, your instructor will offer modifications and options so everyone moves at their own pace. The goal is to feel good, not to nail a perfect pose.
Nope — the yoga and the wine are intentionally separate. We start with a guided Vinyasa flow, weave in wine education throughout class, and then settle into the guided tasting after savasana. You'll be fully present (and steady on your mat) for the practice, and fully relaxed for the tasting.
Absolutely. Our Vinyasa flows are accessible by design — gentle enough for total beginners and engaging enough for experienced yogis. Modifications are always offered, and your instructor will check in throughout class to make sure everyone feels comfortable. If anyone has injuries or specific concerns, just let your instructor know at the start.
Most experiences run about 90 minutes total — roughly 45–60 minutes of yoga and wine education, followed by the guided tasting and time to relax, chat, and snap photos. We can adjust the format for special events or longer experiences — just let us know what you're envisioning.
wine & education
Not even a little. Our wine education is designed to be approachable and fun, whether you're a total novice or a seasoned sipper. Our certified instructors break things down in a way that's easy to follow, never stuffy, and genuinely interesting — you'll leave knowing more than you did when you walked in.
Every class features a comparative tasting built around a grape variety or wine style your group chooses — anything from Rosé, Sparkling, Chardonnay, Viognier, Sangiovese, Orange Wine, Cabernet Sauvignon and more. We typically pour two expressions of the same style from different regions or producers (think French Rosé next to California Rosé) so you can taste how location shapes wine.
Yes — and we welcome them. Non-drinkers are absolutely encouraged to join the experience, and they'll get just as much out of the yoga and wine education as everyone else. If you'd like us to provide a non-alcoholic option for the tasting portion, let us know in advance and we'll do our best to accommodate.
booking & logistics
Private events are hosted at the location of your choice — your Airbnb, backyard, office, or any venue you've already booked. If you need a space, we can book a local yoga studio for an additional fee. For public pop-ups, we partner with local wineries, hotels, and event spaces in Austin, TX and occasionally host events in other cities. Check out our Public Events section for upcoming experiences.
Anything you can comfortably move in. Standard yoga or workout clothes are perfect — leggings, a tank or tee, and bare feet (we practice without shoes).
The core experience — yoga, wine education, and a guided comparative tasting — is the same across every city we serve. That said, some add-ons are city-specific (like our Texas Wine Tasting Upgrade in Austin), and the local flavor of each event reflects the city we're in. We currently operate in Austin, Nashville, Houston, Los Angeles, and Chicago.
We recommend booking 4–6 weeks ahead. Shorter timelines are sometimes possible based on instructor availability — if you're working with a tight window, reach out and we'll do our best to make it work.
Plans change — we get it. Here's how we handle it:A 50% non-refundable deposit secures your date, with the balance due 14 days before the event. Cancellations made 30+ days out receive a full refund of payments beyond the deposit. Between 15 and 29 days, you'll receive a 50% refund. Within 14 days of the event, payments are non-refundable.If you need to reschedule, we're happy to help with at least 15 days notice — one reschedule is on us. Rescheduling within 14 days may include a $100 fee, and rescheduled events should take place within 12 months. For weather, illness, or genuine emergencies, just reach out as early as you can. We'll always do our best to find a fair solution.
Pricing varies by group size, city, and add-ons. Private events typically start at $425 for groups of up to 6. Contact us for a custom quote tailored to your event.
We bring everything you need: mats, props, wine glasses, your certified instructor, the full curated tasting, and all the energy. Guests just bring themselves and something comfortable to move in, and a water bottle to stay hydrated!

Absolutely! We offer gift cards for public and private experiences. Reach out for more details!
bachelorette experiences
Our bachelorette experiences work best with groups of 6 to 20. Smaller groups and larger groups (up to 30+) can be accommodated with advance notice — larger groups may require additional instructors or a venue with room to flow comfortably.
It's actually one of our favorite things about what we do. Bachelorette groups almost always have a mix of yoga regulars and complete beginners, and our format is built for exactly that. Modifications are offered throughout class, and the welcoming energy makes it fun for everyone — not intimidating for first-timers, not boring for experienced yogis.
Yes — and we love when groups make it their own. You'll choose the grape variety or wine style for the tasting, and we offer add-ons (like our Champagne Upgrade) to elevate the experience. If the bride has a favorite wine, a specific request, or a vision for the day, share it when you inquire and we'll do our best to bring it to life.
It's intentionally somewhere in the middle — fun and social, but grounded. The yoga portion is mindful and welcoming (think laughter and breath, not silent and serious), and the tasting that follows is where the group really lights up. It's the perfect daytime activity to set a great tone for the rest of the bach weekend — energizing without being over the top.
private & corporate events
Absolutely. We host birthdays, girls' weekends, bridal showers, corporate gatherings, retreats, and just about any celebration that could use some mindful movement and good wine. If you're celebrating something, we can build an experience around it.
Yes — that's actually where they shine. Our format works beautifully for teams because it doesn't require any prior yoga or wine experience. Everyone flows at their own pace, learns something new, and ends the session relaxed and connected. It's a refreshing alternative to standard team-building activities and a great fit for offices, off-sites, retreats, and client appreciation events.
Yes — we can book a local yoga studio on your behalf for an additional fee, or share recommendations for partner spaces we've worked with in your city. Outdoor events are great too, as long as it's a private space — think backyards, hotel courtyards, rooftop pools, or rental properties. (Most public parks don't allow wine consumption, so those usually aren't an option.) Just mention what you're envisioning when you inquire and we'll help you figure out the best fit.
Our private events typically work best with 6 to 20 guests. We can accommodate smaller groups and larger groups (up to 30+) with advance notice. For larger events, we may bring additional instructors and recommend a venue with room to flow comfortably.
