Some Texas Hill Country Wineries members have already begun harvest, which means it's time for grape stomp and harvest events!
There are many events happening at member wineries from late July through September. Below you can find a list of many of these events at Hill Country wineries, including Messina Hof, Texas Wine Collective, Fall Creek, Hye Meadow, Pedernales Cellars, Texas Hills Vineyards, William Chris Vineyards and Grape Creek Vineyards. Pedernales Cellars – Harvest Picnic
Date: Saturday, August 17th 10am-5pm
Celebrate the Harvest season at our Harvest Picnic! This family-friendly affair will have food, fun, and games for all to enjoy! Enjoy a BBQ lunch with brisket, fixings, a side of potato salad, and a glass of wine for $25 (members receive a 20% discount).

Fall Creek Winery at Driftwood – Grape Stomp
Date: Sunday, September 8, noon – 5pm
Get your feet wet with some good old-fashioned grape stomping - "I Love Lucy" style! Enjoy stomping, food for purchase and fabulous Fall Creek Vineyards wines at our beautiful Driftwood location (with both indoor and outdoor seating). Plus, commemorative FCV Grape Stomp T-Shirts will be available for purchase.

Texas Wine Collective - Grape Stomp and Paella Party
Date: Saturday, August 10, 6:30pm to 9:00pm
It’s the best time of year in the Texas Hill Country— Harvest!! Enjoy the sweet fragrance of ripened grapes in the air and ring in the next vintage. Come for live music by Kelany & The All-Nighters, dinner, and wine. Ticket price includes wine tasting, one glass of wine with Paella dinner, a T-Shirt, and grape stomping!

William Chris Vineyards – Harvest Dinners*
Dates: Friday, August 2 and Saturday, August 3 6:30-9:00pm
Join us at William Chris Vineyards for our annual Harvest Dinner, a cherished tradition celebrating this year's bountiful harvest and the promise of the seasons ahead. This special evening is a family-style gathering designed to welcome the upcoming season with open hearts and full glasses.

William Chris Vineyards – Grape Punch
Date: Wednesday, July 31 and Thursday, August 1 – various time slots
What does "punch down" mean, you ask? This is the term winemakers use for breaking up the cap that's created by grape skins and solids forming over actively fermenting wine. You'll get your hands dirty and will get to say that you helped us produce the 2024 vintage! Our Winemaking Team will lead you through the punch-down process and will explain why it is so important to make wine. We have multiple dates and times available (listed below), so choose your preferred slot and join us

Texas Hills Vineyard – Grape Stomp
Dates: Saturday, August 24, Sunday, August 25, Saturday, August 31, Sunday, September 1

Messina Hof – Hill Country Harvest Festival: Sunset Harvest
Date: Friday, August 30th 6:00-8:30pm
Watch the sun go down as you pick and stomp the grapes that go into our award-winning Ports at our Hill Country vineyard. You will receive a souvenir “Harvest Crew” t-shirt signed with your own purple footprints! All Sunset Harvest tickets include a delicious Vineyard Cuisine dinner buffet and two glasses of wine.

Messina Hof – Hill Country Harvest Festival: Daytime Harvest (family friendly)
Date: Saturday, August 31 9:00-11:30am
Bring your friends and family to our Hill Country vineyard for a fun-filled day of picking and stomping the grapes that go into creating Messina Hof’s well known award-winning Ports. You will receive a souvenir “Harvest Crew” t-shirt signed with your very own purple footprints. Take the opportunity to upgrade your Hill Country Harvest experience with brunch and mimosas by purchasing the Harvest Plus Pass!

Hye Meadow – Grape Stomp & Tour
Dates: Saturdays in August (3, 10, 17, 24, 31) 1:30 and 3:30pm
Learn about the wonder of wine making, taste our wines and of course have fun getting your feet wet at our Grape Stomp!! 18 years and older. Includes: production tour, grape stomp, tasting, souvenir (with footprints)

Grape Creek – Festa della Vendemmia*
Date: Saturday, September 28 7:00pm
Enjoy exquisite culinary offerings from Stout’s restaurant at Grape Creek Vineyards, paired with truly amazing wines from Grape Creek and Heath Sparkling Wines. Attendees will have a chance to win raffle prices and will be offered exclusive discounts on limited access and pre-released wines.
