How far in advance should I book my event?

Accepted Answer

We recommend booking 4–6 weeks in advance. That said, we know plans come together fast — if you're working with a shorter timeline, reach out anyway. We'll do our best to make it work based on instructor availability in your city.

What are the group size minimums? Maximums?

Accepted Answer

Our private events typically work best with groups of 6 to 20 guests. We can accommodate smaller groups and larger groups (up to 30+) with advance notice — just let us know your numbers when you inquire and we'll tailor the experience accordingly. Larger groups may require additional instructors or a venue with enough space to flow comfortably.

How do you choose the wines for the class?

Accepted Answer

We make it easy and collaborative. After you book, we'll send you a curated list of grape varieties and wine styles to choose from — including Rosé, Sparkling Wine, Chardonnay, Viognier, Sangiovese, Orange Wine, Cabernet Sauvignon, and more. You pick the style your group is most excited to explore, and our certified instructors build a comparative tasting around it — pairing two expressions of that style from different regions or producers. Think a French Rosé next to a California Rosé, or a Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand alongside one from the Loire Valley. The result is a tasting that tells a story, teaches your group something new, and features wines they'll actually want to drink.

What's your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

Accepted Answer

Plans change — we get it. Here's how we handle it:A 50% non-refundable deposit secures your date, with the balance due 14 days before the event. Cancellations made 30+ days out receive a full refund of payments beyond the deposit. Between 15 and 29 days, you'll receive a 50% refund. Within 14 days of the event, payments are non-refundable.If you need to reschedule, we're happy to help with at least 15 days notice — one reschedule is on us. Rescheduling within 14 days may include a $100 fee, and rescheduled events should take place within 12 months.For weather, illness, or genuine emergencies, just reach out as early as you can. We'll always do our best to find a fair solution.
