Austin has cemented itself as one of the top bachelorette destinations in the country — and honestly, it's not hard to see why. Great food, great bars, beautiful outdoor spaces, and enough going on that you could plan three different weekends and never repeat yourself. We've been hosting bachelorette wine and yoga experiences here for years, and we get asked for recommendations constantly. So here's our updated guide to the best bachelorette activities in Austin in 2026.

Start with a Vino Vinyasa Experience

We're a little biased, but hear us out. Our wine and yoga experiences have become a staple of Austin bachelorette weekends — and for good reason. We come to your Airbnb, hotel, or venue with mats, wine, and a certified instructor who leads your group through a beginner-friendly Vinyasa flow and a guided wine tasting. It's the perfect daytime anchor before the evening takes over, and your group will leave relaxed, connected, and with a wine-glass-in-hand yoga photo worth posting. To Cool Down

Austin is hot — genuinely, aggressively hot — for more of the year than feels fair. Build in some water time and your group will thank you.

Barton Springs and Deep Eddy are the classics: both spring-fed, both cold, both great for people watching. Barton Springs is the natural pool experience; Deep Eddy is the oldest pool in Austin and has a slightly more neighborhood feel.

For something more luxurious, Resort Pass lets you book day passes to hotel pools around the city — great if your Airbnb doesn't have one or you just want to upgrade the vibe.

For time on the water, The Rowing Dock rents paddleboards, kayaks, and canoes on Lady Bird Lake. You can also rent party barges, take a wakesurfing lesson, or head just outside the city to float the river for a full-day bachelorette adventure.

To Drink: Wine Bars

Austin's wine bar scene has grown up considerably over the last few years. Here are the ones worth your time:

June's All Day remains a go-to — great wine list, great food, great atmosphere. APT 115 is one of the best wine programs in the city, with food to match (dinner only Wednesday through Sunday).

On the east side, Lolo and Birdie's are both worth a visit. Neither takes reservations, so plan accordingly. The Meteor on South Congress is a great natural wine bar with food and arguably the best frozé in Austin.

Rosie's Wine Bar in Clarksville is a newer favorite — no reservations, but you can put your name in and wander to nearby Lin Asian Bar while you wait (get the soup dumplings, make a reservation). Rosie's is connected to Howard's if you want to keep the night going after.

And if you're willing to venture a little further, Neighborhood Vintner in Westlake is arguably the most beautiful wine bar in Austin — incredible selection, retail pricing, and a calm atmosphere that's a genuine departure from the usual bachelorette circuit. Pair it with happy hour at nearby Sway (4–6pm) and you've got a perfect low-key evening.

To Dine

Austin's restaurant scene is legitimately one of the best in the country right now. A few favorites for bachelorette groups:

For a higher-end dinner, Hestia is a Michelin-starred restaurant that is as good as it gets — stunning space, exceptional wine list, fire-focused cooking that feels like a real event. Emmer & Rye and Lenoir are both excellent for a more intimate, ingredient-driven dinner. Reservations required at all three.

For sushi, Uchi is still the gold standard. Their happy hour is one of the best deals in the city — book it. Loro is a great group option: relaxed, indoor-outdoor, fantastic happy hour, and an easy place to linger.

For Mexican and margaritas — mandatory in Austin — Suerte on the east side is excellent, Fonda San Miguel is a classic hacienda-style experience in North Austin, and Licha's Cantina is a personal favorite for interior Mexican with a true Austin feel. If your group doesn't mind a wait, Matt's El Rancho is iconic — no reservations, always busy, and the Bob Armstrong dip is non-negotiable.

On South Congress, Perla's is the move for oysters and seafood on a nice day. Bufalina remains the best thin-crust pizza in the city with a fantastic wine list to boot.

For healthy and vegetarian options, Bouldin Creek Café is an Austin institution. For grab-and-go and hangover recovery, Juiceland is the local staple.

Bachelorette Brunch

Brunch in Austin requires a reservation — don't try to wing it with a group.

Josephine House in Clarksville is one of the prettiest spots in the city for a leisurely morning. June's All Day and Launderette are both reliable and well-loved. Paperboy east or south great for a more casual vibe, and Summer House on Music Lane has a lovely atmosphere. For grab and go hangover food, check out Bird Bird Biscuit on the north, east and south sides of town. (Bonus, they deliver via DoorDash!)

For something special, The Four Seasons has an a-la-carte Saturday brunch at Ciclo overlooking Lady Bird Lake — genuinely lovely, especially if you've just come from one of our public classes there.

For a more classic Austin experience, Kerbey Lane All Day Cafe is the move — famous pancakes, great queso, and a Reverse Happy Hour in the mornings that's perfect for a group. The South Lamar location is open 24 hours on Fridays and Saturdays.

For breakfast tacos, the debate is eternal but our vote will always be Veracruz. Order the migas poblanas. Be aware that on busy weekends they cut off online ordering, and the wait can hit 45 minutes — grab a coffee at Radio Coffee next door and it becomes part of the experience. Taco Deli and Torchy's are solid backup options if the wait isn't worth it to your group.

Shopping

South Congress is still the quintessential Austin bachelorette shopping experience — walkable, eclectic, full of great photo opportunities including the famous "I love you so much" mural. For boots, Tecovas has a beautiful shop on SoCo and Allen's Boots is the OG. Check out the SoCo Maker's Market on weekends for handmade goods (Fridays and Saturdays 10–6, Sundays 1:30–6).

Wineries

For a wine tasting without leaving the city, The Austin Winery is a great urban option. For something closer to a true Hill Country experience, Fall Creek Vineyards in Driftwood is our top pick — beautiful property, excellent wines, and we can sometimes host private classes in their barrel room. Right across the street is Salt Lick BBQ, which is BYOB and absolutely worth the visit.

If you're planning any time in the Hill Country, reach out — we do PR for Texas Hill Country Wineries and have a lot of insider knowledge about where to go and what to taste. We're also happy to connect you with Texas Tipsy Tours for a guided winery experience.

Want something extra fun?

And if you want mixologists to come to your Airbnb and make cocktails for your group, Cocktail Cowboys are the people to call.

Have fun, stay hydrated, and reach out if you want to add a Vino Vinyasa experience to your Austin weekend. We'd love to be part of it.
