We teach you wine facts WHILE we flow through yoga, and then lead you through a mindful tasting after class. All of our yoga teachers are sommeliers or WSET-certified and trained through the Vino Vinyasa teacher training program, guaranteeing a high-quality experience.

We can come to your rental house, or book a space for you. Venue rentals include yoga studios or Fall Creek Winery in Driftwood, TX, just outside of Austin.

Meet Our Austin Team

Morgan Perry

Morgan Perry is the founder of Vino Vinyasa Yoga. Morgan's wine experience started in wine marketing and PR at an agency in New York City, but it wasn't until she took a trip to Chile that she truly fell in love with wine. She returned to New York and began taking Wine and Spirit Education Trust classes to learn more. She now has her Advanced Certification, which she passed with distinction.

While living in New York, Morgan discovered yoga as a way to relax, de-stress, and stretch her tight muscles that she got from running. (Fun fact, she has run both the Napa to Sonoma and Oregon Wine Country Half Marathons!) After about six years of being a yoga student, Morgan took the next step in her practice and became a certified yoga teacher. It was shortly thereafter that Vino Vinyasa (formerly Yoga Unwined) was born in New York City in early 2017. Morgan now resides in Austin, TX, and offers her signature yoga & wine classes in NYC, Austin, and LA.

Becky Shidlofsky

Becky holds certifications in Zumba, Cardio Drumming, Nutrition Coaching, WSET level 1, and a 500-hour yoga certification (RYT500.)

She’s passionate about making wellness accessible and specializes in diverse fitness disciplines, including group sessions and private events like Vino Vinyasa.

She says, “Whether it’s yoga, cardio, or meditation, I believe in nurturing our bodies. Beyond fitness, my love for wine is a true vocation, adding a delightful balance to my life. Join me on a journey to holistic well-being!”

Rebekah Simmons

Rebekah, a RYT 500 certified yoga teacher and WSET 1 who has been teaching for Vino Vinyasa for 4 years.

She says, “I actually found Vino Vinyasa 5 years ago through an Instagram post and immediately knew that I had found something I wanted to be a part of. Yoga and wine are two of my favorite things and I love being able to share that love with others through our private classes and events.”

Outside of Vino Vinyasa, you can flow with Rebekah at Core Power Yoga on Sundays at 6:00 PM and Mondays at 7:15 PM.

When not teaching yoga or sipping at a winery, you can find her cooking in the kitchen with her husband, on a walk with her 2 dogs, or running on the trail.

Mariah Colorado

Mimi Daraa

Mimi is a 200 hr Yoga Alliance Certified Power Vinyasa yoga teacher in downtown Austin. She has an incredible presence in the yoga studio, guiding her students to a higher sense of mindfulness and inner awareness. Combined with her 14 years experience in Michelin starred restaurants in New York City, she brings a practical, detailed and food pairing driven approach to wine tasting. Although she can tell you what many celebrities like to drink what, she believes wine is all about what your personal preference is! It is an endless source of discussion and interpretation deserved to be enjoyed by all!

Mimi believes that wine is about bringing friends and family close together, enhancing the richness of our lives, just like yoga brings a community of like minded people to their mats to cultivate physical strength, inner joy and long lasting memories!

She teaches hot power vinyasa at Core Power Yoga, and is continuing her yoga journey with a global community of online yoga students through OmFlow. When she isn't in Austin or NYC, she continues to find inspiration in her travels to visit her family in France, Morocco and founded her own Palo Santo company which brings her to Ecuador supporting a reforestation and community empowerment project.

Penelope Glifort

Penelope has been a practicing yogi since 2006, completing her 200YTT in 2014 through Black Swan Yoga.

Power Vinyasa is her main teaching style with an emphasis on beginners. Using a controlled, energetic, and physical style of instruction, students are able to enhance their strength, flexibility, and grace. Her goal is to continue to grow as an instructor who helps students open up to their potential to live rich and fulfilling lives.

Penelope is also passionate about wine and the incredible journey from vine to table! She studied Wine Fundamentals through The International Sommeliers Guild and looks forward to continued education. She is also mom to Roland, the cutest little yogi you ever did see!

Lynn Becker

Lynn hnot only has a BS in Nursing but is also a Sommelier at The Wine Cellar, teaches private wine classes and events, and is a WSET Diploma candidate and French wine scholar!
